Similar situation: I was on a webinar last night that blasted out warnings about a new Obama ruling that would invalidate IRA accounts for most Americans. Although there may be some truth to the concern (participating in prohibited transactions), the information presented was based on an Advisory Opinion, not a ruling, and the Opinion was issued in October, 2009.

Of course, anyone listening could pay the expert tax attorney  $2500 for him to get IRS to sign off on an amnesty agreement!]]></description>
